It's the VIP escort mission (Thorne) and you forget to bring a medikit on Jeng (support). Which gets hit for 4/6 hp as you land. Those fucking thinmen and their plasma rifles.

Jeng then gets poisoned by another thinman's spit and proceeds to die at the beginning of the next turn.

Panic ensues and in the confusion, Zinchenko (assault) takes aim and puts a shotgun blast right through the face of the VIP from 30m out.

That's the quintessential XCOM experience right there.
